In 2004, Robin Kung returned from Philippines after He graduated from the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries with the Degree of Master of Arts in Christian Leadership. He started by opening English Classes and then Sunday Worship Services in a rented apartment. By the Grace of God it grew until the Government shut him down for drawing so much attention with people coming in and out, that time Myanmar was still under the Military Government which Controls everything. Religious Freedom was legally allowed but it was not Practiced. So after that he and the Group moved to several Places to hold meetings.
In 2006, He and the group had opportunity to travel to Magwe Division to do Evangelistic works at the Village where there were no Christian. After the Preaching 50 of them Received Christ as Lord and Saviour in that village. Then the need to take care of the Sheep Grows. So to answer that need, in 2007 a ministry was formed which has now become Elim Myanmar in order to Plant more Churches and run Ministries which God has led us to do in Myanmar. Thus Far, God has given us 7 different Churches to plant and look after and our Passion stays the same, “To reach the Lost, To Train the Found, and Send out the Trained ones into the Harvest Fields in Myanmar”.
