This young boy sitting in the middle earns a living by tending goats.
Recently, two of the goats he was responsible for were bitten by a snake and died. Sadly, instead of showing compassion, the owner demanded that the boy pay for one of the goats. He was even arrested and locked in the stocks because he could not afford to pay.
When we heard what had happened, our hearts were deeply saddened.
Earlier this year, his grandmother became a follower of Jesus. When she shared the situation with our pastor in the area, we were able to step in, help the family, and help secure the boy’s release from the stocks.
There are times when the world around us seems to be becoming more merciless and people become increasingly cruel toward one another.
But the Church has a different calling.
We choose compassion.
We choose mercy.
We choose to stand with the vulnerable.
We choose to shine the light of Christ.
We may not be able to change everything around us, but we can choose to bring the love of Jesus to the people God places in our path.
God is good. And we are grateful for every opportunity to be His hands, His feet, and His light.

What a joy it was to pray with Elim Global leaders from around the world. Everyone is so passionate for the lost and praying with these leaders with one heart and once voice is amazing. God is truly great and hearing about what God is doing around the world is such wonderful and a treat !!
We thank God for the Secondhand used Motorbike for our pastor in Oo Yin Wa ! It’s a much much needed blessing!
God is good to us and he has blessed us with many blessings. We have been able to start a new mission field in a village called Oo Yin Wa ! Pastor Kyaw Taung is leading it ! He is doing his best to reach out to people in the village each day and we are praying that we will see the fruits of his labor very soon !
